Kim Richards chatted with Brandi Glanville during a recent podcast of Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, and dished with her fellow former Real Housewives of Beverly Hillscostar about her relapse last spring, as well as her present sobriety.

“Everything’s good. Just enjoying life, really, truly. It’s a good time for me right now,” Kim Richards told her friend.

Brandi Glanville dished about no longer starring on RHOBH, and spoke for both herself and Kim Richards when she said, “It’s relaxing for us. We’re not so stressed out with everything we would normally be stressed out about. We wake up with smiles on our faces and we don’t have to deal with the drama.”

Kim Richards admits it’s a bit easier, but that it took her a while to realize that.

“It’s good. It’s better now. It was a rough time for a bit there. Just putting everything back in order and just really focusing on my family and me,” she said.

Kim Richards was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel back in April for public intoxication. She was also arrested for shoplifting at Target. She has since been sentenced to attend 52 meetings with Alcoholics Anonymous, which she is finding to be very beneficial.

“One day at a time, sometimes one minute at a time,” Richards said of her progress. “I’m living in the now, living in the present. If I look too far back or too far forward, it’s kind of crazy and I get fearful. Living in the present for me is just the best way, and the only way for me.”

It’s likely that part of Kim Richards’ therapy through AA is to mend fences with her family members. That might be working, too. She was pictured with sister Kyle Richards in a recent Instagram post.

Hopefully Brandi Glanville will check in on Kim Richards again in one of her future podcasts. Fans would no doubt love to keep track of the progress she’s making as she works to stay sober.
